Is it safe to spray paint a gameboy colour?
If I took off the casing and spray painted that with nothing else, would it be safe? Would there be any fire hazards if I used spray paint on it?

I think this could work, if anyone has tried something like this, could I get information?

I’d do it. The electronics aren’t inside, so what could it hurt? Once it dried though, I’d sand it lightly, wipe it off with a damp cloth, then let it dry again. You wouldn’t want any goobers sticking in weird places. Yeah, definitely dry it completely. If it needs another light coat to be shiny, so be it.

EDIT: On second thought, maybe don’t sand it. probably the paint would just peel right off. Just watch for thick sticky goobers.

EDIT AGAIN: I got it. Sand it first! Yes. Then the paint will stick and not peel off, like it wants to do on plastic. Sorry.

Yes. Just make sure you scuff it up well with a fine sandpaper – 220 will do – or else the paint will peel off.
