anyone know how we can view different colors on the house before painting it? Something free online would be nice, if there’s anything like that.
Or a website that shows what colors go good together.
Thank you if you reply! ^^
www dot roomvues dot com (crazy y!a won’t let me post the actual link.
You can upload a photo of your house to the makeover gallery and ask them to photoshop it with whatever colors you’re considering.

I am 21yo and i just moved into my first house, im excited about "making it feel like home" by painting it, but i just cant decide what colors to paint it. I love really rich colors, but i dont want it to look boring. HELP =)
Go to the Sherwin Williams website and click on the link for the Color Visualizer…it’s a lot of fun to play with!

If it takes my uncle, a profession painter, 3 hours to paint my house, my dad 5 hours to paint my house, and myself 8 hours to paint my house, how long would it take the three of us to paint my house if we were painting together at the same time?
This problem must be solved using rates. Based on how long it takes each person to paint the house, determine his painting rate. Then add the rates to get the rate at which the work progressed when done simultaneously. Finally, divide the size of the task by the rate to determine how long it takes.
Your uncle paints at the rate of (1 house) / (3 hours) = (1/3) house/hr. Your dad paints at a rate of (1/5) house/hr, and you paint at a rate of (1/8) house/hr. That means that all three of you working together can paint at a rate of (1/3) + (1/5) + (1/8) = 0.658 house/hr. The task is painting one house, so it will take (1 house) / (0.658 house/hr) = 1.52 hours.
My values for the rate and total time are both rounded decimals. You might want to recalculate these values as fractions to get an exact answer, if that’s what your teacher expects.
